Looking to upgrade your heating system without jumping through hoops? The Ontario Home Renovation Savings Program now offers homeowners the chance to install a high-efficiency heat pump and access rebates up to $12,000—no energy assessment required.
If you’ve been putting off your upgrade due to red tape, this program could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
What’s the Offer?
This 2025 heat pump rebate depends on your current home heating source and the type of heat pump you install:

- Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump: $1,250/ton, up to $7,500
- Ground Source (Geothermal) Heat Pump: $2,000/ton, up to $12,000
For Enbridge Gas Customers (Natural Gas Heat Source):

Why Investing in a Heat Pump Now is Worth It
This simplified rebate process makes heat pump adoption more accessible than ever, especially for homeowners who don’t want to pay for or wait on a full energy audit. Plus, with recent changes to carbon pricing, it’s smart to future-proof your home with electric heating options that lower long-term operating costs and emissions.
