Ontario HVAC Rebates & Government Programs

Looking to bring down the price of a new HVAC upgrade? Ontario homeowners can take advantage of generous federal and provincial rebates to make HVAC upgrades more affordable in 2025. Whether you’re installing a heat pump, switching from oil, or just adding a smart thermostat, there are thousands of dollars in savings available. Here’s a breakdown of the top rebate programs you can apply for right now.

Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program

Rebate: Up to $10,000

Eligibility: Low- to middle-income households switching from oil heating to a cold-climate electric heat pump. No audit required.

This program also helps you save on energy costs in the long run, meaning the savings will add up beyond the initial rebate amount. Better still, it will significantly reduce emissions.
